On 24th of Feb, SDM team of chief engineer and relevant designers paid a return visit to the BF in new area of Shiheng special steel group new driver upgradation project.

The two BFs have been respectively put into production in December of 2020 and January of 2021 with stable operation for both of them at present. Under the precondition of 56% TFe content of feed material and 515kg/t fuel ratio, the daily output of hot metal is around 5400ton, which ranks in front position of same-size BFs in China and wins praise from the client.

During the visit, the client and our team discussed the construction issues and the problems found in production and equipment maintenance in recent two months, and carried out inspection in workshop together. For all the issues discussed, our engineers have made complete record to feedback with the solutions.

This return-visit provides stronger support to the successive operation of the new BF and more technical evidences to the modification project in old area of Shiheng Special steel group. It reflects our company target of “provide our client with  excellent service” and also ensures the joint development of SDM and Shiheng Special Steel Group.
