SDM won the bid for the 2.0MTPA coking project of Yunnan Coal Industry Energy Co., Ltd.

On March 12, SDM won the bid for the EPC + overall plant layout design project of Yunnan Coal Industry Energy Co., Ltd. for the 2.0MTPA coking environmental protection relocation and upgradation project (coking + coal preparation).

Yunnan Coal Industry Energy Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Yunnan Coal Energy"), affiliated to Kunming Iron and Steel Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China Baowu Steel Group Limited, is one of the largest coking enterprises in Yunnan Province. The company was successfully listed in 2011. Its coking project is located in Anning Industrial Park, Yunnan Province, with a design capacity of 2.0MTPA coke. The EPC coking + coal preparation project contracted by SDM is the main works of this project, including 2 sets of newly-built 7.6m reheating top charge coke ovens and the supporting coal preparation production system.
