A few days ago, the General Office of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued a document that SDM is successfully selected as the "Experimental Unit for the application of Intellectual Property Rights in Industrial Enterprises in 2020". In Shandong Province 109 outstanding enterprises are selected in the application of intellectual property rights. 

The evaluation indicators of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology mainly include the number of intellectual property ownership, intellectual property management status, and intellectual property application ability. Among the advantageous and characteristic industries of various industries, enterprises that have a foundation, characteristics, effectiveness, and industry-leading role in the management and application of intellectual property rights will be recommended. Intellectual property is an important indicator to measure the R&D investment and protection of companies. SDM has always adhered to independent technological innovation and intellectual property creation, and actively established and improved intellectual property management systems. By the end of January 21, SDM has applied for a total of 258 patents and obtained 164 authorized patents.

SDM will take this opportunity to continue to implement the intellectual property regulations of governments at all levels, make full use of provincial and municipal intellectual property policies, increase the maintenance, protection and safeguarding of intellectual property rights, start the construction of intellectual property platforms, and enhance its comprehensive intellectual property capabilities.
