On January 15, the kick-off meeting and project demonstration meeting of key project "key technology research and demonstration of industrial kiln co-processing of urban solid waste pollution control"（2020YFC1910000） of national key research and development plan "recycling of solid waste" is held in Jinan. Some members of SDM research group participated the meeting. 

 The project has been approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China. It is led by Shandong University; SDM, Xi'an Jiaotong University, Southeast University and many other well-known universities have participated in the implementation. In response to the technical requirements for industrial kiln co-processing of urban solid waste pollution control, an innovative technology system and business model will be established for multi-terminal joint control of kiln co-processing of urban solid waste and pollutants in the three major industries of steel, coal and cement. Plant & equipment and engineering demonstrations will be formed to fully release the potential of environmental benefits of kilns in the steel, coal, and cement industries, to break the technical and model obstacles of the co-processing of multi-source solid waste in industrial kilns, and to promote the intensive industry development of safe and efficient co-processing of industrial kilns in our country.
